Welcome to Difference Makers, INC, Dba The Impact Center Food Pantry.

 

The following are guidelines that we would like to have you follow when coming to the food pantry.

You will be able to come to the Food Pantry two times per month. Please remember that some months have 5 Thursdays and plan your visits accordingly.

 

Please read and familiarize yourself with them. We want this to be a pleasant experience for all.​

 

The Food Pantry will be open every Thursday from 1-4 pm. We will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024 for Thanksgiving Day. We will follow the Whitley County Consolidated School schedule regarding weather alerts. If the WCCS are closed on a Thursday due to inclement weather, the Food Pantry will also be closed.

For those who are new to the Food Pantry, please have a document with proof of residence (example: a bill with your name on it with your current Whitley County address). We will never ask you for proof of income.

Approach the Food Pantry on North Elm Street heading south. Get into line on North Elm Street behind the cars. Turn right into the Food Pantry parking lot.

We are a Smoke Free Facility, there is to be no smoking anywhere on the property. Please do not be smoking when we come out to your car to get your information and please do not be on your cell phone.

Each time you come to the Food Pantry we will ask your name, the number of people in your household, their ages and male or female. We will never ask you for proof of income.

​

You are not permitted to sell any of the food or items you receive from the Food Pantry.

​

If you are able, we would appreciate your help with loading your boxes of food. Please have space already cleared for your food boxes to go into your vehicle.

 

Please note: Everyone at the Food Pantry is a volunteer, and we are here to help serve the community.
